Fort Smith’s conference facilities are situated in the heart of its restored historic downtown area. This includes the Fort Smith Convention Center and the Fort Smith Event Center, as well as several adjacent and surrounding hotels. Groups from 5 to 5,000 people enjoy holding their general sessions, breakouts and banquets in the contiguous 62,000 square feet of convention space, and comfortably accommodated in over 2,400 area hotel guest rooms and suites.

The Fort Smith Convention Center’s conference facilities include 62,000 square feet for banquets and meetings, which feature a versatile 40,000 square foot column-free exhibit hall and 22,000 square feet of additional flexible space.

The nearby Fort Smith Event Center provides 10,000 square feet of conference and event space.

Fort Smith Lodging

The Fort Smith Convention Center is anchored to the west by the adjoining nine-story atrium style Holiday Inn City Center, with 255 guest rooms and suites, and to the east by the adjacent Courtyard by Marriott, with 138 guest rooms and suites. Within a safe two block walk or drive is the Howard Johnson Inn, which is adjacent to the Fort Smith Event Center and includes 129 guest rooms and suites.

Fort Smith Things to Do

Located right on the Arkansas-Oklahoma border, hold your event in Fort Smith and you will be in the heart of some of the most beautiful scenery these two states have to offer. Getting There

Fort Smith Regional Airport is served by Delta and American Airlines, with daily flights to/from Atlanta and DFW. Fort smith is also easily reached by driving from Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA), about 1 hour 20 minutes by car, or driving from Little Rock, a 2 hour car trip.
