Katherine L. Faulk (Katy) founded KLF & Company, a fundraising and event management company in August of 2007. Clients since then have included a nonprofit, state senate candidates, judicial candidates, political organizations, and private sector businesses for which she raises funds, organizes events and manages other projects.
Faulk serves as a representative for the historic 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa, and the 1905 Basin Park Hotel (both located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas) in the Little Rock area as well as the 1929 Hotel Seville in Harrison, Arkansas. Faulk is independent and represents both client and property to build relationships between the properties and government and association contacts. She works with meeting planners, executive directors, and others to bring their conferences, board meetings, workshops, and gatherings to the historic hotels while seamless handling the contract and event details.

Prior to starting her own firm, Katy was the Director of Development at the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation, managing all fundraising activities for the organization. In 2006, she served as Asa Hutchinson‚ Finance Director during his gubernatorial race in Arkansas. The Campaign raised over $3.2 million, the most ever raised by a Republican gubernatorial campaign in state history.

Before moving to Little Rock in March of 2006, Katy spent four and a half years in our nation‚ capitol coordinating dozens of fundraising events each year as well as strategic planning and overall not-for-profit management for a variety of high profile clientele such as Operation Smile, D.C. Central Kitchen, Prison Fellowship, Deafness Research Foundation, Volunteers of America, Young Life and many more.

 

Originally from Tennessee, Katy has a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in French from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as well as a M.A. in Political Management with a concentration in fundraising from The George Washington University. She also has completed the Arkansas Association of Fundraising Professionals‚ fundraising certificate program.
